Dinner with Miami Children's Health Foundation
Last week I had the honor of being invited to a private influencer dinner with the Miami Children's Health Foundation. Now before I get into it, I think now's a good time to say that I did A LOT of community service growing up. I attended private schools up until college, both of which emphasized the importance of giving back to others (and is also probably why I feel so strongly about living an ethical/sustainable lifestyle altogether). I went on various mission trips, worked in shelters, fed the homeless, you name it. So needless to say that when I got the invite to this dinner I was really excited because it had been a while since I had connected with a cause.
I don't need to say much to make you understand what the purpose of the Miami Children's Health foundation is. It's simple: they work to ensure the health & happiness of children everywhere (Including my little brother who had meningitis when he was just a kid). And I couldn't be happier to help share their mission, and bring awareness as to how YOU can help.
I, along with several other lovely ladies had dinner at the River Yacht Club with the MCHF team. We also got to hear former patient now model Alessandra Maggioni about her battle with scoliosis, as well as how the foundation has helped her heal & pursue a happier, healthier life. I couldn't be more excited to a part of this cause and help shine some light on how you can make a difference.
